Medical marijuana uses the marijuana plant to treat diseases or any conditions. It is the same product as recreational marijuana but it is for medical purposes. - Controls the vomiting and nausea effect caused by chemotherapy
How do you use it?
To use medical marijuana you can:
- Eat it. You can include this while eating a piece of cake or a lollipop
- Smoke it
- Inhale it using a device called a vaporizer
- Placing few drops of liquid in your tongue
- Apply it to your skin in a cream, spray, or lotion
It is up to you on how you will take it. The kinds of methods work separately in your body. For example, if you smoke cannabis then you will feel the effects very rapidly. And if you eat it, this will take an hour or two for it to experience the effects.
How will you get medical marijuana?
To have medical marijuana you will need to have a recommendation from a doctor where that is legal. You must have the condition that certifies for medical marijuana use. In every state, there is a different list of qualifying conditions. Your state may need you to get a medical marijuana ID card.

Medical marijuana has received a lot of attention when the form of drug helps control seizures in their children. The FDA has approved Epidiolex that is made from CBD. As a form of therapy for people with serious seizures that is hard to treat. Studies have shown that some people had an outstanding drop in seizures after taking the CBD.
